Here we are again at the end of another year - a year in which I have joined you in Newport. I have said previously how I appreciated the welcome and offers of support across the board. There have been a number of successes and achievements which lays testimony to the calibre of person we have in Newport. I must say I am, and always will be, proud to be part of it.
All of you, in your Groups, will have closed the door on normal events for the festive season. This is a time for celebration with our families. I would like to thank you all for all the contributions you have made through 2015. It goes without saying how much I value the Team I have around me, and the Executive Committee that is managing the affairs of the District, again thank you one and all.
I trust you will all have a good time. I would like to wish you, and your families a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas coupled with a healthy and prosperous New Year.
