Safeguard Training

Safeguard training for scout leaders can now be completed using the scout safeguard training on the scout web site. Please following the instructions carefully. 

 Any leader who does not have access to complete the training through the web site can request that access is made available at Skip Jennings Hall.

Soap Box Derby

Newport soap box derby on a cold and wet Saturday in November, a number
of scouts from across the city race against each other to find the
fastest scout in Newport. After having a energetic time and fun racing, the

wining troop was  1st Llanmartin.

Well done everyone [lets hope the coffee might improve next  year]?

The Gang Show is recruiting (Update)

Hi all just a reminder the last day for Gang Show registration for cast members is this Sunday 18th November at Duffryn High School at 1.30pm. 

No new members will be accepted after this date. 

Also this Saturday 17th November there will be a family Bingo Night at Duffryn High School to raise much needed funds to be able to put the show on. Doors open at 7pm all members of Scouting, Guiding and there families are welcome.
