2012/13 FIRST AID Training Dates and Application form - updated July 15th
The British Red Cross
Practical First Aid Certificate is the recommended qualification for Leaders
and Helpers taking members into the outdoor environment. The course is recognised
by both the Scout Association and Girlguiding UK and operated in
conjunction with the British Red Cross.
The
course is a 14 hour contact course, run over one weekend.
The
certificate is valid for 3 years and is recognised outside Scouting and
Girlguiding, it offers a more in depth knowledge than the 1st
Response Course for those planning activities “outside”.
