District Cooking Competition

Eight teams from across the District took part in Saturdays competition. The contest was judged by Mary Periam, Ben Periam and Gethin Jones. They have judged this competition for the last few years and every year they see an improvement in food quality, taste and presentation.

The winners were Llanmartin B Team who produced some fantastic looking courses. As well as the fantastic dishes served up by the teams, the other highlight of the day was a frying pan stuck to a table!!

The Scouts all enjoyed the challenge and a good time was had by all.

Well done to all who took part and a big thank you to our judges.

Thanks to Paul Smith (1st Rogerstone) for the report & photos
