On the hottest Remembrance parade [ever] some 152
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and supporters from across the City took part in
the Parade, all very smarty turned out and all a credit to their groups and to
Newport District.
Before the service and parade the Air Scouts handed out the parade
order of service to the public and those on parade. During the service everyone
gave their all to ensure the service was meaningful and all taking some
important emotions and memories home with them.
Because
of the heat on parade a small number of our scouts became unwell and needed
extra support in the form of First Aid! We all trust they are now all feel
better.
