County Fishing Competition
September means one thing, the return of the county fishing competition held at the Newport angling's Bob Small Fishery. This year over 50 members came out in the glorious sun shine to try there luck at this years competition.
This years winning catch was over 2 pounds - a good weight for the conditions (obviously, the coaching session on the previous Saturday paid off!) .
Congratulations to all those that entered, the vast majority of you managed to catch something! Everyone regardless of there catch was a winner and left with a prize.
A massive thank you to Newport Angling for the continued support for this event and not forgetting the leaders for organising the event and untangling all those trees!
