Cub Fun Day 2008
What a fabulous day we all
had!

We left
Newport on the coach early in the morning heading for Builth Wells, even
though the driver got a bit lost. When we arrived there were a lot of
coaches pulling up full of Cubs from all over Wales. We set up our base in
the section set aside for Gwent, we were the Knights of King Arthur. We made
shields, helmets and swords on our base. There were lots of bases to visit
such as Disney, Barnum circus, Jamie Oliver, Robin Hood. Some of our
favourites were the water slide and the archery.

We had a
picnic lunch followed by ice cream or doughnuts from the vans. Ice creams
were great because it had got hotter as the day went by.

Our
leaders told us there were about 1000 Cubs at the fun day it was very busy
and you had to queue for some activities but that didnt matter. We left
Builth wells at 4pm and a few of us slept on the way back. It was a great
fun day out and every Cub should go if they have the chance. Thank you for
taking us.
