Leaders Charity Hike.
Leaders from across Newport joined up to hike around Newport visiting every scout meeting place in the district to raise money for there chosen charity for this year, Health Help International (HHI), with the aim of raising enough money to purchase a plot of land and build an orphanage in southern India.
The hike started at Marshfield on Friday evening and finished at Wentwood on Sunday afternoon. The rout was approximately 37 miles long visiting most parts of Newport.
The Participants would like to thank all of you that gave generously to this event, especially the people who gave to us during the event.
