Canoeing Weekend.
A number of scouts from our district spent the warmest and driest weekend so far training and working for their WBCU canoe awards. Peny-y-Fan pond was the venue for scouts from South Wales to meet and work towards the test on Sunday.
Scouts from the 28th and 25th Air and Sea Scouts supported by leaders and parents alike, with many parents setting up picnic tables and chairs and really making the most of the good weather while still keeping and eye the scouts’ activities.
This weekend is part of the Welsh Council water activity programme so many thanks to everyone who gave their time to ensure all had a great weekend on the water learning and developing skills plus having great Scouting FUN!
