Beavers Scouts have a great day out in Space.
A number of the beavers from Newport joined many beavers from around Gwent to enjoy a day in SPACE as part of their 20th birthday during 2006. Most left their homes just after breakfast to travel to a special area for local scouts to use in Bryn Barch Parc.
On a very hot and dry Saturday in June carrying their pack lunches and space suits etc some beavers looking very much like aliens from out space and Dr Who?
The Beavers took part in many activities from making woggles, wooden items and even launching a number of Rockets into the sky over the site.
Great fun was had, enjoying a massed picnic lunch with fellow beavers before more activities in the afternoon.
