Air Scouts have been asking to look at helping to develop a new badge
for scouting UK.
A Rocket
badge?
All ready the
troop as had one visits from one of Britain’s leading Rocket’s
people and from this visit the troop as made a visit to a large open
space near Magor. [For security reason the launch zone must be kept on a
need to know].
The Air
Scouts all had the opportunity to choose which rocket to launch and the
size motor required to get it off the ground. Even some dads had a go!
On a great morning with light winds and clear sky all went well and all
rockets safely returned to base.
