Newport
Welcomes French Scouts.
Newport and
the other Welsh Districts where asked to give a warm Welsh Welcome to
forty something Scouts from France.
Polly (D.C.)
was very pleased to meet two small groups and say a few words of welcome
and to wish them well for the rest of their adventure at the
Euro-Jamboree. On the last
night Polly also shared a meal with the lads who were staying with Glyn
and Tilly and having a great time with a full programme of sight
seeing during the four days they dropped in on Wales and Newport.
Thank you all
who supported the Scouts and made them very welcome and part of your
families. I know they will always remember their stay with us.
