Extravaganza
Well � weren�t we lucky! The wettest week that we have had in ages with gales and everything but when the night came for 1st Wentwood�s firework display the rain stopped and the wind calmed down.
They
were a bit late getting started but I suppose that they have to be
careful with safety. The fire was really big but they had a rope
to keep everyone back and to keep everyone away from the fireworks.
There were people in yellow jackets to make sure everyone behaved too.
The fireworks were excellent and went on for ages. My favourites
were the big rockets at the end. The burgers and hot dogs were
really tasty, but I wanted more but my mum said no � she always does!
I can�t wait for next years.
